Exciting changes happening
We are doing some major changes to our farm by downsizing our poultry selection and focusing on fish farming. We will be growing shrimp, crayfish, and possibly tilapia. We are making these changes to better service our community with fresh, organic, and non toxic aquatic crops. Currently we are reducing our inventory massively and every bird we have are at huge discounted rates. I want to thank everyone that supported us during our beginning phase of our farm and and our

New babies are being born!
I am excited to announce that we have new babies hatching as I type this. We cycle our hatching every two weeks to keep our brooders clean, graduations cycling between cages, and making sure every new chick has a high chance of survival and new friends every time they are moved to bigger coops. Even though we have been hatching eggs here on the farm for 1 year now, every time a new chick hatches, it is like the very first day we started.

With a little creativity, sweat in the sun, and a couple of small scrapes you can create a sprinkler system to keep your garden growing.

How to protect your flock from predators
You spent time preparing your coop, picked up the best organic feed, and chosen your new babies from your local hatchery. You think you have everything set until your first attack in the night from your first predator. Trust me which this is not what you want to happen or even see. We have been in this business for quite some time and seen something things that even the strongest stomach couldn't handle. We tried many things from enforcing the cage by using bricks and log

Created a pool for the ducklings
Today was a fun day creating a small wading pool for ducklings. I dug a small hole with two levels of dirt allowing even the smallest duckling to enjoy the water. All you need is a shovel, heavy duty plastic, and imagination. In no time your ducks will be able to beat even the hottest days.
